About the Producers
Valley Milkhouse
Situated in the heart of the Oley Valley in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Valley Milkhouse is an artisan creamery handcrafting fresh, soft-ripened and aged cheeses in traditional European styles. Ribbon-winning camembert, cider-washed tomme and stilton style blue are among the favorites embraced by the regional food community and beyond. Valley Milkhouse sources its milk from Leola's Meadowview Jerseys, a dairy grazing A2A2 Jersey cows.
“Our cheeses shine because of the milk and because of the passion and meticulous attention to detail of the cheesemaking team. Meadowview Jersey Farm grazes heritage breed Jersey cows on lush pastures. Our cheeses change with the seasons based on the grass varieties, the weather, and the lactation cycle of the animals. That’s what we love about cheese making – our process remains the same while the farm cycles through its seasons. The milk expresses itself in beautiful, vibrant ways in these wheel-sized time capsules we call cheese.”

Birchrun Hills Farm
Birchrun Hills Farm is a small family dairy farm with an on-site creamery in northern Chester County. Owned and operated by Ken and Sue Miller and their two sons, Randy and Jesse, they control every step of how their products are made. They sustainably grow crops and feed a herd of 80 Holstein cows to produce high-quality milk. They make cheese and age them in their underground aging-facility. The Miller family has been making cheese since 2006 to secure a sustainable future for our dairy farm.
“At Birchrun Hills Farm, we pride ourselves in being a part of our community. We are committed to sustainably and responsibly producing the highest quality products possible while focusing on environmental stewardship, the welfare and health of our animals to secure a sustainable future for our family farm.”
