We partner with our friends at Primordia Mushroom Farm to bring you the very best, fresh-harvested, chemical-free, locally grown mushrooms.

Each week you receive a half pound of mushrooms. Varieties rotate from week to week and include Shiitake, Lion’s Mane, Pioppino, Gray & Gold Oyster, Chestnut, Trumpet, Maitake and more.

Primordia Mushroom Farm

Primordia mushroom farm is a family owned and built farm and business nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania.   They grow a divers selection of quality mushrooms indoors and year round.

“Providing beautiful, interesting and healthful foods was our goal at the inception of our farm, and that remains the core of what we do.”

Mushroom Varieties

  • These Japanese mushrooms grow in tight, packed clusters. They are tender and chewy with a mild nutty, herbal flavor. They are lovely for sautéing, braising, stewing or roasting.

  • Black pearl/black oyster mushrooms have a lighter flavor & uniform texture. Firm with a softer, chewier texture than white trumpet. Excellent used in faux scallop or faux seafood stew-type dishes.

  • A great for everything, super versatile mushroom.

  • Golden Enoki mushrooms are tender and crisp with a crunchy bite and a mild, fruity, and peppery flavor. Popular in East Asian cuisine. Excellent for stir fry and ramen!

  • Mushrooms are fragrant and light, with a texture lovely for pasta and seafood dishes. They’re fragrance is stronger than their flavor so don’t be alarmed! They are fresh and mild tasting.
