Simple summer recipes are incredibly enjoyable. Especially on hot July days, when it’s somewhat unimaginable to have to turn on a stove for any sustained period of time. Local peach season is one of my absolute favorites. Like all the summer fruits, I wait all year to get my hands on these gems and find creative ways to enjoy them.
This toast recipe is incredibly simple, but focuses on all the fresh and bold flavors that are highly accessible to local communities this time of year. Along with the sweet and savory flavors in this toast, the textures play off of one another nicely. This dish is perfect for a quick meal or snack. Not a lot of hassle, but I guarantee you it’s one of the yummiest combinations. Enjoy!
